As we are getting ready to celebrate Mother's Day this week, I just wanted to tell the world that, Mother's Day is every day. It is not on what you say, but what you do. A little poetry to play with your mind
Mother's Day What is Mother's Day to You? It is not just for this weekend But for today and every day It is not about beautiful words Rather about actions, being present Don't to it for the media, do it for yourself When was the last time did you visit your mom? That woman who put her life on hold So you can have your dreams The one that is now put in the nursing home And that you are too busy to spend a few hours with. Isn't it sad and heartless, that the same person who couldn't go to sleep Until you get home safe and sound Is now going through life alone While you, the son or daughter is too busy Living yours. What would you be, if she was as selfish as you? Where would you live or what school would you go to? I don't mean to be so hard to anyone But don't use the media to show something that you are not. Instead look into your heart And find the courage to forgive yourself And treat your mom as your first godlike on earth to you For today is her and tomorrow certainly will be you! So what is Mother's Day to you?
